Create and maintain saved contacts

Keep registration contacts, defaults, and verification details up to date.

Before you start

  • Use accurate contact details. A saved contact can be shared by multiple domains and roles.
  1. 1

    Open your address book

Open Manage → My Contacts. Click Add contact to create a record, or open a contact’s action menu to edit it.

The New Contact form starts with name, email, phone, and address fields.

  2. 2

    Complete the contact

Enter the required name, email, phone, address, city, postal code, and country details. Choose the phone country code. Add a nickname to recognize the contact later, and complete any extension-specific fields shown.

  3. 3

    Review terms and save

Review the current contact terms where shown, then click Save contact. Wait for the saved result. If the terms change or validation is required, review the current terms before saving again.

  4. 4

Set the default and verify email

Use the contact’s menu to make the appropriate record your default. If Send verification email is offered, request it and follow the message sent to the contact’s inbox. Check spam if it does not arrive.

  5. 5

    Check shared-contact updates

Use View domains to review linked domains. If an update needs attention, choose Review domain status and compare Current, Different, and Unconfirmed results. Check the saved details and terms before using Retry contact update.

What happens next

The saved record is available when selecting registration or domain contacts. A saved address-book change and a confirmed registrar update are separate states; review warnings until resolved.

Need a little more help?

The save was not confirmed

Refresh and check the contact status before trying again. Your original request may still be processing.

Can I delete a contact?

Choose another default first if required. Review the deletion dialog carefully: domains using the contact may be moved to your default in each role, and registrant changes can require approval. Check View deletion progress and resolve any blocking work before retrying.
