Move a domain to another DNX account
Send an account-push request and track the recipient’s acceptance.
Before you start
- Confirm the recipient’s DNX account email. Account pushes and registrar transfers have different requirements.
- 1
Open the Push tab
Open the domain from My Domains, then click Push. Check that the form says Move this domain to another DNX account.
For a DNX account push, the recipient is entered in the Email field. - 2
Enter the recipient
Type the recipient’s email and click Push. Review Confirm domain move, the domain, and the destination before confirming. The recipient is emailed, and the domain stays in your account until they accept.
- 3
Track the request
The outgoing request page shows whether it is waiting for approval, waiting for the recipient, or processing. Keep that page’s link to return to its progress. While pending, Cancel request can stop the request after confirmation.
- 4
Check the completed move
When the request says the domain moved to the new account, use Back to domains. The completed domain no longer appears in your account. If declined, cancelled, expired, or failed, check the latest portfolio status.
- 5
Recognize a different push type
Some extensions present a Tag or Recipient destination instead of a DNX email. Follow the explanation in that form. An external registrar move requires its own confirmation and cannot be undone from DNX. Do not enter an account email into a tag or destination-ID field.
What happens next
An account push completes after the required approval and recipient acceptance. The receiving user can then manage the domain.
