Set default DNS records

Choose default records for new registrations and, optionally, transferred-in domains.

Before you start

  • Applying defaults to transferred-in domains overwrites their nameservers and DNS records and can interrupt existing services.
  1. 1

    Open DNS Defaults

Open Manage → DNS Defaults. Review Apply to new registrations and Apply to transferred-in domains. Enable only the scopes you intend to use.

Choose when the DNS defaults should apply.

    Add root and subdomain records
